terms & conditions

Cail Bruich is an independent restaurant and as such, our continued viability relies heavily on reservations being honoured by our guests or sufficient notice being given of any changes to plans or reservations.

We kindly require a 50% menu deposit per guest at the time of booking as per your menu selection.

For gift voucher reservations we do not require a deposit payment but do request card details to confirm the reservation.

By making a booking with us you agree to our cancellation policy as follows:

  • Reservations must be cancelled by contacting our reservations team at info@cailbruich.co.uk or 0141 334 6265.

  • Deposit payments can be cancelled and refunded up to 72 hours before the reservation time.

  • For reservations cancelled within 72 hours of the reservation time, or in the event of a no-show, we reserve the right to retain the full deposit payment as a cancellation fee.

  • For gift voucher reservations cancelled within 72 hours of the reservation time, or in the event of a no-show, we reserve the right to redeem the gift voucher provided as a cancellation fee.

  • In the event that your voucher details have not been noted as requested at the time of booking then the card provided will be charged for 50% of the menu price per guest.

We add a discretionary service charge of 12.5% to all bills, along with a £1 donation to MND Scotland. We don’t see fit to process a service charge in advance of the reservation so please note that this will be added to your full final bill including food and drinks on the day of your booking.

We can accommodate certain allergies and dietary requirements at the discretion of our team. Due to the nature of our offering we are unable to cater to dietary requirements on the day of booking so request that these are provided in advance when making your reservation.

When accommodating dietary restrictions we design our menu as close to that as originally intended. As such we may not be able to accommodate restrictions that require extensive changes. We do not offer a vegan or dairy-free menu. If you have any other severe or restrictive dietary requirements please contact us directly and our reservations team can discuss this with you.

We kindly ask that you visit us with trust in our team and as such we do not cater to dislikes.

We cannot accept dietary requirements and allergies for our chef’s table experience due to the extended nature of the menu.

Our maximum table capacity is 5 guests and we do not accept group reservations across multiple tables.

Our dining room is on one level, however our guest bathrooms are on the basement level down a set of stairs and due to the tenement layout of the building we are unable to offer accessible guest bathrooms. We kindly request that permanent wheelchair users contact the restaurant directly prior to making a reservation to ensure that we are able to make the necessary table accommodations for you.

We allow children over the age of 8 years old, however please note that we do not offer a children’s menu and all restaurant bookings are a fixed price as per our tasting menu.

We kindly ask that the restaurant is cleared by 4.30pm for lunch reservations to allow our team the appropriate time to prepare for dinner service.
